Quality and Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of quality and safety processes with company standards and legal requirements.
• Lead and coordinate the quality team.
• Plan and conduct internal and external quality audits, monitor non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
• Organize and lead root cause analyses (RCA) and CAPA processes.
• Maintain and oversee the structure and approval of quality documentation.
• Supervise and manage the Quality Management System. Collect and analyse quality data, prepare KPI reports and propose process improvement. Collaborate closely with Production, Procurement, R&D and Operational Excellence teams. Plan and implement quality improvement and training initiatives, promoting continuous improvement within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (preferably in engineering).
• At least 3 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Practical experience with ISO 9001 standards and audits; advantage for candidates with experience implementing ISO 9001.
• Experience and knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards will be considered an advantage.
• Strong ability to plan work independently, analyse situations and make sound decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, preferably in an international environment.
• Good Latvian and English skills, both written and spoken. English is used daily for communication with international colleagues and for documentation preparation.
