I-Work Group client is an international manufacturing company specializing in high-precision component development and production, delivering solutions to a wide range of global industries. The company in Latvia operates in a fast-growing environment and is expanding its professional team. Driven by continued growth, the company is looking to add a new professional to its team.

Supply Chain Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely follow-up on supplier delivery commitments and escalate supply risks as required;
  • Oversee raw and direct material planning based on demand, lead times, and plant capacity;
  • Ensure material availability aligns with production schedules and agreed minimum stock levels;
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels for raw materials, WIP, semi-finished goods, and finished goods;
  • Lead planners to develop feasible production plans based on capacity, BOM accuracy, and material readiness;
  • Manage and monitor plant capacity planning, including injection molding machine utilization and constraints;
  • Ensure close coordination between planning, production, and procurement teams;
  • Review customer orders against forecasts and identify gaps, risks, and mitigation actions;
  • Manage customer order fulfilment to meet on-time delivery and service level targets;
  • Drive alignment between customer demand, production plans, and inventory strategies;
  • Own plant inventory performance, including inventory turns, excess, slow-moving, and obsolete stock;
  • Lead, coach, and develop Buyers and Planners to achieve performance targets;
  • Performance reviews with Buyers and SQA, including supplier risk management actions.

Competencies required

  • Min 5 years of experience in similar position in manufacturing environment;
  • Degree in relevant field;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English to ensure effective interdepartmental communication;
  • Possess a high level of integrity and good leadership and supervisory skills;
  • Able to communicate at all levels and excellent analytical skills required.
