I-Work Group client is an international fintech company providing financial services across global markets. With a strong presence in multiple regions, the company continues to expand its operations. Driven by ongoing growth, the company is looking to add a new professional to its team.

Regional Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and control financial results on a company and product-level
• Cooperate with local finance teams in the responsible region, supervising their work and deliverables
• Manage the monthly closing process
• Prepare and distribute reports of financial performance to financial and operational stakeholders, banks and authorities in a timely manner, ensuring data accuracy
• Involvement in Group external audit process
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and lead their implementation
• Establish and maintain appropriate policies, procedures and processes to ensure an effective control environment and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Record, control and execute necessary payments for the company, ensure their control, and analyze the company’s cash flow
• Prepare and record company invoices and documents in accordance with the tax

Competencies required

• University degree in accounting, finance or business administration
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position or equivalent experience in “Big 4”
• Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting
• Ability to fit in dynamic work environment
• High sense of responsibility
• Excellent MS Excel knowledge
• Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver results within deadlines
• Excellent Latvian and English skills, both written and spoken (cooperation with partners abroad)
