The customer of I-Work Group is an international solar energy sector company that specialises in high-quality PV construction, O&M, and technical consulting. As the company develops, I-Work Group is looking for

SOLAR POWER TECHNICIAN

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Monitoring and maintenance of the solar power plants in Latvia (Latgale);
• Conducting both scheduled and unscheduled inspections of the solar parks;
• Operating, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing electrical equipment (transformer stations, electrical cabinets, inverters, photovoltaic modules, cables, and connectors);
• Performing general infrastructure maintenance of solar parks, such as grass cutting, maintaining park integrity, and servicing buildings and components (ventilation, security systems, locks, gates, fences, and other engineering systems);
• Preparing and completing inspection reports, service logs, and documentation for additional work performed;
• Coordinating closely with dispatchers and coordinators.

Requirements:

• Experience in constructing and/or maintaining solar power plants is a strong advantage;
• C-level electrical safety category certificate is a strong advantage;
• Knowledge of medium and low voltage installation requirements, national electrical installation standards, and safety regulations (e.g., LVS EN standards, internal electrical safety rules);
• Basic understanding of solar power plants (photovoltaic modules, inverters), and operational switching in the AC part (low and high voltage from 0.4 kV to 35 kV);
• Compliance with occupational safety requirements;
• At least a Level 2 professional qualification in electrical engineering;
• Valid category B driver’s license;
• Good computer skills;
• Good English language skills (for communication with dispatchers and coordinators);
• Responsibility, diligence, efficiency, strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
