I-Work Group Receives Highest Level A Rating in the State Revenue Service Tax Rating System 2025

I-Work Group Ltd. has received an A-level rating in the tax rating system, confirming honest business practices and proving that the company is a responsible and reliable partner.

I-Work Group has achieved an A rating across all criteria: registration data evaluation; declaration and reporting indicators; tax obligation compliance indicators; results of tax and customs payment administration; wage assessment; and tax declaration risk assessment.

At the end of 2024, 24,219 companies (18% of all in Latvia) were rated A-level, 59,238 companies (43%) B-level, and 9,194 (7%) C-level. 4,057 companies (3%) were newly established, and 40,482 (29%) were inactive taxpayers. From March 2025, this data will be publicly available in the State Revenue Service database.

Explanation of tax rating levels:

A level – Good compliance: The company pays taxes on time and in full and has no significant compliance risks. Considered a reliable taxpayer and partner for the state. A-level companies also gain several advantages.

B level – Compliance needs improvement: The company generally fulfills obligations but has room for improvement – more timely and precise declarations, full and timely tax payments.

C level – Non-compliance: The company has been removed from the VAT register or had its business activity suspended due to violations. Such companies are considered high-risk, and transactions may even be legally prohibited.

N level – Inactive taxpayer: The company has not carried out economic activity for at least 6 months (no declared transactions, no employees, or no wages paid).

J level – Newly registered taxpayer: Companies registered within the last 6 months.
